Stomaphyx is a revolutionary procedure for former gastric bypass patients who are struggling to lose the last 20 to 30 pounds of their weight goal, or who have started to regain weight. The procedure involves a simple, non-invasive procedure and can be performed on an outpatient basis, meaning no hospital stay is required.

During a Stomaphyx procedure, the surgeon carefully feeds an endoscope through the mouth and into the stomach pouch. The connection between the stomach pouch and the small intestine is sutured, reducing the size of the stomach pouch.  As a result, patients feel full faster and can achieve additional weight loss.
