Julie Fikstad, RN, BS, IBCLC
Julie received her BS degree in nursing at the University of Utah College of Nursing. She has many years of experience in maternal infant care and Labor and Delivery. Julie is an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.)

Mitzi Jones, BS, ICCE, LE
Mitzi received her BS in Human Development from the University of Utah and is an ICEA-certified instructor. She has had over 40 hours of training in lactation and working toward certification. She is also a Sign 2 Me instructor, teaching toddlers to communicate with their parents.

Saralyn Margetts, RN, BS, CLC
Sara received her RN associate degree from Weber State University and her Bachelors degree in Community Health Education from Utah State University. She has been a Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC) since 1999. She has taught sibling classes, breastfeeding classes, and infant care classes at SLRMC.

Ellen Shafer, RN, BS
Ellen graduated from the University of Utah College of Nursing and worked in Mother/baby nursing, followed by years working in Labor and Delivery. She loved being a mother to her six children so much that she knew when she entered nursing school that she would like to spend her career helping other women become mothers.
